Free Soil, Hoague roads open to traffic.

SCOTTVILLE — The Mason County Road Commission has announced that Free Soil and Hoague roads have been re-opened to through traffic. Both roads were reconstructed and resurfaced. The gravel shoulders were placed and gront slopes graded. Final restoration will be completed in the spring of 2019.

Construction on Free Soil Road took place from Custer Road to about a half mile west in Free Soil Township. Construction of Hogue Road took place between Quarterline and LaSalle roads in Grant Township.
