College offering use of shower facilities during power outages.

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — West Shore Community College is offering the use of the shower facilities, in both the Recreation Center and the West Shore Community Ice Arena, to area residents impacted by recent power outages.

“We recognize the inconvenience of not having a warm shower at home and this is one way we can help until the power is restored,” said Thom Hawley, executive director of college relations.

Residents wishing to use either facility should bring their own towels and toiletries. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Those using the facilities are asked to check in to the Recreation Center office.

Recreation Center hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6 a.m. to .8.p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.;  and Sunday  noon to 5 p.m.

The ice arena hours are Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
