Illinois man arrested for assaulting wife in motel parking lot.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 23-year-old Lockport, Ill. man was arrested Wednesday evening for domestic assault of his 21-year-old wife. Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) were called to the Rodeway Inn, 5095 W. US 10, at 10:18 p.m. for a report of an assault in the motel’s parking lot. According to the sheriff’s office, the couple had been arguing when the man allegedly grabbed the woman and threw her onto the asphalt parking lot. Cameras from the motel captured the incident.
