Motorcycle stolen from Branch Twp. home.

BRANCH TOWNSHIP — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a motorcycle from a residence in the 300 block of Gibson Road. At 1:36 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, a resident reported that someone had broken into the residence and stole a 2007 Honda CRF205R dirt bike. The case remains under investigation.

  • 8:02 a.m., Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), illegal dumping 3500 block of South Custer Road, Eden Township. Complainant found numerous bags of garage on property.
  • 1:12 p.m., MCSO, damaged mailbox, 3300 block of West Johnson Road, Amber Township. Mailbox damaged by fireworks.
  • 4:42 p.m., MCSO, two vehicle hit and run crash, no injuries, M-116 north of Piney Ridge, Hamlin Township.
  • 4:56 p.m., MCSO, two vehicle crash, no injuries, Brye Road and US 10-31, Amber Township.

  • 5:47 a.m., MCSO, car/deer crash, no injuries, US 10-31 east of Gordon Road, Amber Township.
  • 11:03 a.m., MCSO, larceny, 5100 block of North US 31, Sherman Township. Complainant reported the theft of two 2-gallon gas cans.  
  • 11:18 a.m., MCSO, gas drive off, $5, Wesco East, 5685 W. US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 11:18 a.m., MCSO, gas drive off, $20, Wesco East, 5685 W. US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 11:18 a.m., MCSO, gas drive off, $9.99, Wesco East, 5685 W. US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 9:45 p.m., MCSO, car/deer crash, no injuries, Stiles Road north of Hansen Road, Amber Township.
