White Pine Village opens Military Museum.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Historic White Pine Village opened its Military Museum today, Tuesday, June 14, 2018. The museum is a tribute to military personnel and includes displays from the Civil War through modern times. Rick Plummer, executive director of Mason County Historical Society, said several people and organizations were part of the museum, including Jim Fay, who developed the idea. Also credited were Ned Nordine, Marty Cupp, Roger Dreikorn, Kevin Kalmbach, Roger Tominski, and American Legion Edwin H. Ewing Post 76.

Maj. Tad Reed, US Army National Guard, gave the keynote address.
