County government phone lines inoperable.

Phone service is currently inoperable at the following Mason County government facilities: Mason County Sheriff’s Office in Ludington, Mason County Courthouse in Ludington, and the Zoning and Drain Office in Scottville. All offices are open and running per normal schedule.

The phone carrier provider has a cable failure in the area, which is affecting service at these locations, according to County Clerk Cheryl Kelly.

The issue is being worked on.
