Obituary: Devin Courtland, 31, Ludington.

Devin “Eskimo” Nathaniel Courtland, 31, of Ludington passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Devin graduated from Mason County Central High School in 2006. He worked at many factories and most recently, he worked at Shop-N-Save. Devin had a passion for music and he loved to play his guitar and drums. He was an avid disc golf player and he enjoyed riding motorcycles and taking walks with his dog, Jester.

Devin will be greatly missed by his mother, Debra Courtland, his siblings, Jeremy (Ashley) Courtland, Misty (Rob) Favreau, Hope Courtland, Tiffany Mattila, Josh Courtland, AJ Courtland, Sarah (Abrahm) Gomez-Sotto, David Courtland, Vicki Whipple, Venecia Fulvi, Amanita Fluvi, George (Taylor) Courtland, Michael Courtland, and Ariel Courtland; his special friend, Christine Elliott; his grandmothers, Janice Clark and Colleen Schwass. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Devin was preceded in death by his father Richard Courtland; his sister, Shelbie Courtland; his brother, Timothy Courtland; his grandfather, Gerald Clark; his grandparents, Elmer and Lillian Courtland and Larry and Clara Henderson; his sister, Kiesha Courtland, and his special friend, Larry Henderson Jr.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington. A funeral will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Devin will be laid to rest next to his family at Lakeview Cemetery in Ludington.

Memorial contributions in Devin’s name may be directed to the family to assist with the purchase of a headstone.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Ludington.
