LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– Joanne Eileen. Anderson, 38, of 6079 E US 10, Branch Township, pleaded “no contest” May 15 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was sentenced to 32 days in jail with credit for two days served; must report to jail Sept. 15 unless she has completed Impact Weekend; outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs) and drug tests; and $1,470 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Michelle Eileen Howell, 50, of 2893 N. Tuttle Rd., Sherman Township, was found guilty May 15 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 62 days in jail with credit for two days served; must report to jail Sept. 15 unless she has completed Impact Weekend; outpatient treatment; one year discretionary jail for two years; must attend AA three times per week; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $1,655 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable SOS. Charges of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and open intoxicants were dismissed.

– Marsha Ann Killips, 42, of 6962 S. Stiles Rd., Riverton Township, was found guilty May 18 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $285 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Kyle Avery Michels, 22, of 6954 E. US 10, Branch Township, was found guilty May 16 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend the next session of the Victim Impact Panel (VIP); must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $1,200 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. Charges of expired registration and driving while license not valid were dismissed.

– Robert James McGinnis, 32, of 10355 N. M 37, Buckley, was found guilty May 15 of improper transport of medical marijuana and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $595 in fines and costs. One count of marijuana possession was dismissed.

– Skip Roy-Ernest Lange, 23, of 402 4th St., Ludington, was found guilty May 15 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 81 days in jail with credit for 21 days served; must report to jail Sept. 15 unless he has completed Impact Weekend; one year discretionary jail for two years; outpatient counseling; must attend AA three times per week; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $1,655 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. Charges of no insurance and second-offense DWLS were dismissed.

– Steven Joseph Edel, 57, of 2489 N. Darr Rd., Custer Township, was found guilty May 17 of fishing with a license and attempted snagging and was sentenced to $290 in fines and costs.

– Nicole Deann Pettinato, 39, of 109 S. Columbia Ave., Scottville, was found guilty May 15 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $285 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed.

– Ryan Robert Bullard, 36, of 3286 W. 1st St., Ludington, was found guilty May 23 of taking an illegal deer and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $2,485 in fines and costs.

Dismissal

– Angela Renee Carlson, 35, of 1302 N. Lendale. Pere Marquette Township, one count of domestic violence was dismissed May 14 “per prosecutor’s deferral,” her court file states.
