Ludington Avenue construction begins Monday.

LUDINGTON — The Michigan Department of Transportation has announced that work on Ludington Avenue (US 10) between Rowe and Jackson streets is scheduled to start on Monday, April 16. The project will include sidewalk ramp upgrades, drainage repairs and resurfacing of the street.

  During the first few weeks of the projects the outside lane will be closed in each direction as crews work to complete the sidewalk ramp upgrades, and drainage repairs.  Right lanes of both eastbound and westbound Ludington Avenue will be closed for the duration of the work. The inside lanes will remain open. Sidewalk detours will also be in place to allow for travel around the sections of sidewalk currently under construction. 

  Project work is scheduled to be completed prior to Memorial Day weekend.
