CUSTER TOWNSHIP — Three people were injured following a two-vehicle crash on Scottville Road south of Wilson Road Tuesday morning. Emergency crews were called to the scene at 9:07 a.m. The crash occurred when a southbound SUV driven by a 55-year-old Hart woman apparently lost control on the snow-covered road and crossed the centerline into the path of a northbound SUV driven by a 53-year-old Scottville woman, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. The vehicles collided head-on. The two drivers, along with an 80-year-old Scottville woman, passenger in the northbound vehicle, were transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital by ambulance.

Responding to the scene were Scottville Fire Department, Custer Fire Department, Mason County Sheriff’s Office, and Life EMS.
