Seasonal road weight and speed restrictions beginning.

SCOTTVILLE — The Mason County Road Commission has announced that seasonal road weight and speed restrictions will go into effect on Monday, Feb. 19 at 7 a.m. until further notice.

All county roads will be restricted by reducing the maximum axle load by 35% per axel and truck speeds to 35 mph. Weight and speed restrictions are enforced to minimize the damage caused during Michigan’s seasonal thaw.
