LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felony

Burk

– Thomas James Burk, 45, of 220 Gibson Rd., Walhalla, was arrested Feb. 6 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a felony of interfering with electronic communications and a misdemeanor of second-offense domestic violence. Preliminary exam: Feb. 28 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Blaine Austin Beemer, 20, of 269 E. Fountain Rd., Sherman Township; MCSO; embezzlement less than $200. Pretrial: Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Jason Timothy Varnes, 36, of 1719 Maggie St., Branch Township; MCSO; third-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: March 5 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Jaden Randall Stinnett, 17, of 1714 W. US 10, Amber Township; Ludington Police Department (LPD); marijuana use. Pretrial: March 5 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Dustin Allen Collene, 37, of 6647 W. Ann St., Pere Marquette Township; Michigan State Police, Hart post (MSP); second-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI), violation of a restricted license and failure to report an accident. Pretrial: March 12 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

– Raquel Angela Lopez, 26, of 603 S. Washington Ave., Ludington; MCSO; second-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: March 12 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Kayla Jean Johnson, 25, of 494 S. Pere Marquette Hwy., Pere Marquette Township; LPD; third-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: March. 5 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Shannon George Courtland, 29, of 2190 N. LaSalle Rd., Amber Township; Scottville Police Department (SPD); assault and battery. Pretrial: March 5 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Jordan Thomas Wieand, 18, of 203 S. Washington Ave., Ludington; LDP; aggravated assault. Pretrial: March 5 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.

– Jason Allen Comstock, 47, no address listed; LPD; driving while license suspended (DWLS), operating without insurance, improper plate and giving a false ID to a police officer. Pretrial: March 5 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Gregory Thomas Carroll, 50, of 109 E. Foster St., Ludington; LPD; assault and battery. Pretrial: Feb. 26 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Eleasar Esparaza, Jr., 26, of 5634 W. Johnson Rd., Pere Marquette Township; LPD; third-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: Feb. 26 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.
