LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Scheuer

– Mark Edmund Scheuer, 47, of 314 N. Jebavy Dr., Pere Marquette Township, was arrested Jan. 31 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for felonies of firearms – possession by a felon, felony firearm, altering identification marks on a firearm, resisting and opposing police and possession of a firearm under the influence and a misdemeanor of malicious destruction of building under $200, along with a fourth-offense habitual offender designation. Preliminary exam: Feb. 21 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $25,000/cash/surety.

Petro

– Brian Keith Petro, 33, of 1101 S. Madison Ave., Ludington, was arrested Jan. 17 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for felonies of breaking and entering with intent, receiving and concealing stolen property $1,000-$20,000 and buying stolen scrap metal. Preliminary exam: Feb. 21 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $15,000/cash/surety.

Smith

– Todd Allen Smith, 45, of 2088 Joyce St., Mears, was arrested Jan. 22 by MSCO for felonies of third-degree attempted home invasion and malicious destruction of a building $200-$1,000. Preliminary exam: Feb. 21 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Christopher Michael Marquez, 30, no address listed; LPD; domestic violence. Pretrial: Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Thys Leroy Talsma, 51, of 308 Fourth St., Ludington; MCSO; assault and battery. Pretrial: Feb. 12 at 3 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Nichole Deann Petitnato, 38, of 379 1/2 7th St., Manistee; MCSO; driving while license license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: Feb. 26 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Melvin David Case, 47, of 265 N. Stiles Rd., Amber Township; Michigan State Police (MSP); operating while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: March 12 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Barbara Ruth Tyler, 27, of 108 S. Reinberg Ave., Scottville; Scottville Police Department (SPD); domestic violence. Pretrial: March 5 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Tim Francis Boynton, 52, of 903 N. Emily St., Ludington; operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) and OWI. Pretrial: March 12 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.
