79th District Court sentencings posted Jan. 10, 2018.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– Melissa Cecile Marshall, 37, of 8370 1st Ave., Onekama, was found guilty Jan. 3 of operating while impaired by a controlled substance and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend next session of the Victims’ Impact Panel (VIP); and $895 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of possession of analogues was dismissed.

– Cody Allen DeHaan, 24, of 7895 US 10, Branch, was found guilty Jan. 8 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for 10 days served; one year probation; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $285 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Ashely Nicole Unger, 28, of 4001 Maple Island Rd., Twin Lake, was found guilty Jan. 8 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; one year probation; and $335 in fines and costs.

Dismissal

– Fremont Kerricks, 34, homeless, one count of breaking and entering – illegal entry was dismissed, because he pleaded to more serious charges in his circuit court case, his court records state.
