Assault with a dangerous weapon tops recent arraignments

LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

-Daron Eugene Porter, 19, of 306 E. State St., Scottville, was arrested July 14 by the Scottville Police Department (SPD) on felony charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence and malicious destruction of property less than $200. Preliminary hearing: August 2 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

-Joseph Ray Flores, 30, of 6109 S. Brye Rd., Summit Township; July 8; MCSO; DWLS, operating a vehicle without security (no insurance) and providing false information to a police officer. Pretrial: August 7 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $10,000 cash/surety.

-David Lewis Seibert, 67, of 918 High St., Manistee; June 15; Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO); assault and battery. Pretrial: July 31 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

-Gary Andrew Harris, 50, of 9246 Babcock Rd., Bellevue, Michigan; July 15; Michigan State Police (MSP); operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: August 21 at 11 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Michael James Hill, 29, of 2827 N. Sandy Dr., Hamlin Township; July 12; MCSO; driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: July 31 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.
