Deputies rescue lost hikers.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — Hikers who were lost in the Nordhouse Dunes area Tuesday, July 18, at 3:30 a.m. were rescued by Mason County Sheriff’s deputies, according to Sgt. Eric Soneral of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office.

“Deputies were able to locate the hikers using their lights and sirens to lead them out to their vehicles,” Soneral said.

– 12:55 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), larceny, 1000 block of East Tinkham Avenue, City of Ludington.

– 10:29 p.m., (LPD), a kayak tipped over, no injuries, City of Ludington. (Incident location not immediately available).
