Castonia appointed to county board of commissioners.

LUDINGTON — Gary Castonia has been appointed to the District 2 seat of the Mason County Board of Commissioners Tuesday. Castonia replaces Bill Carpenter, who resigned due to a move out of the district. Castonia currently serves as sixth ward councilor for the City of Ludington. He has been appointed to serve on the county’s public safety and courts committee, the parks and recreation commission, the Area Agency on Aging and the solid waste management committee.

Chairman Lange has appointed Commissioner Castonia to the Public Safety and Courts Committee, the Parks and Recreation Commission, the Area Agency on Aging, and the Solid Waste Management Committee.
