SCOTTVILLE — There will be a lot going on in Scottville Tuesday night. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with the free Mason County Central Schools Summer Carnival on the green of the Scottville Clown Band Shell. At 6:50 p.m., the Scottville Optimist Club will announce the recipients of its 2017 Educator of the Year Award. The Scottville Clown Band takes the stage at 7 p.m. with its annual Patriotic Concert. During intermission, the Scottville Sculpture Committee will unveil the rendering and launch its fundraising campaign for the town’s first installment of the Mason County Sculpture Trail. And, the evening will conclude with a free showing of the movie “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” on the band shell green.  The Scottville Optimist Club will also be selling bratwursts and hot dogs, along with popcorn, snow cones, and beverages.

The weather forecast is calling for slightly cooler temperatures, about 70 degrees during the day, and into the ’50s at night, so dress warm. But, the entertainment promises to be “fun for all.”
