Drug charges top district court arraignments

The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Shaver

-Mary Beth Shaver, 47, of 6945 W. Shelby Rd., Shelby, was arrested Apr. 19 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance, second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) and second-offense habitual offender. Preliminary hearing:  May 10 at 11:15 a.m. Bail:  $10,000/10 percent.

Swan

-Allison Shirley Swan, 35, of 1005 N. Custer Rd., Custer Township, was arrested Apr. 18 by MCSO on felony charges of embezzlement by an agent/trustee and using a computer to commit a crime. Preliminary hearing:  May 10 at 11:15 a.m. Bail:  $7,500 personal.

LeClair

-Joseph Michael LeClair, 56, of 3516 W. Hansen Rd., Amber Township, was arrested Apr. 19 by MCSO on a felony charge of second-offense possession of marijuana. Preliminary hearing:  May 10 at 11:15 a.m. Bail:  $7,500 personal.

Straub

-Brandon Arlie Straub, 28, of 179 N. Jebavy Dr., Pere Marquette Township, was arrested Apr. 20 by the State, Sheriff, and City Enforcement of Narcotic Team (SSCENT) on a felony charge of second-offense possession of marijuana. Preliminary hearing:  May 10 at 11:15 a.m. Bail:  $3,500/10 percent.

Jackson

-Julien Hernandez Jackson, 17, of 7741 W. Range St., Mears, was arrested Apr. 22 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on felony charges of resisting & obstructing and minor in possession of alcohol. Preliminary hearing:  May 10 at 11:15 a.m. Bail:  $2,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

-Jessica Lee Holder, 32, of 103 First St., Ludington; Apr. 20; Michigan State Police (MSP); possession of marijuana. Pretrial:  May 15 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal.

-Robert Bruce Florian, 19, of 24 Webster Ct., Manistee; Apr. 15; MSP; possession of marijuana and operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial:  May 22 at 1:30 p.m. Bail:  $2,500 personal.

-Branden Michael Alpin, 34, of 2785 N. Amber Rd., Victory Township; Apr. 19; MSP; second-offense domestic violence, malicious destruction of property and malicious destruction of property to a building under $200. Pretrial:  May 15 at 2 p.m.  Bail:  $5,000/10 percent.

-Jammie Leigh Cluck, 31, of 127 W. Alcott, Kalamazoo; Apr. 17; Scottville Police Department (SPD); embezzlement by an agent/trustee.  Pretrial:  May 19 at 9:45 a.m. Bail:  $5,000/10 percent.

-David Shawn Johnson, 48, of 304 N. Robert St., Ludington; Apr. 20; MCSO; third-degree retail fraud. Pretrial:  May 15 at 10:45 a.m. Bail:  $2,500 personal.

-Megan Elizabeth Durham, 26, of 315 S. James St., Apt. 1, Ludington; Apr. 15; MSP; OWI. Pretrial:  May 22 at 9:30 a.m. Bail:  $2,500/10 percent.

-Timothy John McDonald, 57, of 802 N. Rowe St., Apt. 4, Ludington; Apr. 14; LPD; OWI. Pretrial:  May 15 at 1:30 p.m. Bail:  $2,500/10 percent.

-Michael Lee Oszust, 41, of 2927 Lena Dr., Hamlin Township; Apr. 24; second-offense OWI and DWLS. Pretrial:  May 22 at 1:45 p.m. Bail:  $3,500 personal.

-Travis Alan Vorase, 22, of 308 Fifth St., Ludington; Apr. 20; operating without security (no vehicle insurance) and unlawful plates. Pretrial:  May 8 at 11 a.m.  Bail:  $1,500/10 percent.

-Thomas Michael Grimm, 26, of 1950 S. Scottville Rd., Custer Township; Apr. 20; operating without security (no vehicle insurance) and unlawful plates. Pretrial:  May 8 at 11:45 a.m. Bail:  $2,500 personal.

-Danen Carl Frandsen, 23, of 217 10th St., Manistee; Apr. 20; operating without security (no vehicle insurance). Pretrial:  May 8 at 3 p.m. Bail:  $2,500 personal.
