PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A warrant is being sought for a 41-year-old Ludington man for a felony charge of aggravated domestic assault after he allegedly punched a female in the face during an argument Wednesday, April 19, at 1:01 a.m. in the 5700 block of West Barton Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
“The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived,” Cole said.
In a separate incident, a 34-year-old Scottville man was arrested for domestic violence and malicious destruction of property by Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post Wednesday at 6:39 p.m. in the 2000 block of North Amber Road in Victory Township.

  • 12:29 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 47-year-old Shelby woman was arrested for cocaine possession and second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) and following a traffic stop, Pere Marquette Highway and Wallace Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 11:39 a.m., (MCSO), larceny of a wallet, 3000 block of North Stiles Road, Victory Township.
  • 2:50 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Jebavy Drive and Rasmussen Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 9:48 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Monroe Road and 92nd Avenue, Weare Township.
