Hospital on emergency power, portions of Ludington still without.

UPDATE: Power has been restored at the hospital.

LUDINGTON — Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital is currently operating on emergency generator power. Hospital personnel report that the Emergency Department is fully functional but some departments have been curtailed until full power is restored. There are delays in cancer treatment with patients being called individually until power is restored.

Portions of the City of Ludington remain without power, including parts of downtown. Traffic lights on Ludington Avenue at Washington Avenue, Harrison Street, and James Street are currently not functioning. Consumers Energy is reporting on its website that restoration is estimated to take place by 11:45 a.m.
