LUDINGTON — The first round of prom dress distribution took place Monday evening with another night planned Wednesday, April 19, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church at 501 E Danaher St, Ludington. During Monday’s event, 11 girls attended and were to chose from over 250 free dresses with the help from organizer Shelby Soberalski, Miss Ludington Area 2016. The dresses come in various sizes, styles, lengths, and colors. Shelby was assisted by Marie-Cassandra McDonald, Miss Ludington Area 2015.

Support for the distribution was also given by Lakeshore Resource Network and Emanuel Lutheran Church.
