SSCENT conducts search warrant.

LUDINGTON — State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) detectives executed a search warrant for drugs in the 500 block of Fifth Street Thursday, April 13, according to Det./Lt. Andrew Ambrose.
“SSCENT detectives, with the assistance of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit, initiated an investigation earlier in the evening that led to the search warrant on Fifth Street,” Ambrose said. “Officers from the Ludington City Police Department assisted SSCENT detectives with the search warrant. No arrests have been made at this time, as the case is under further investigation.”
SSCENT is a multi-jurisdictional task force that serves Manistee, Mason, Oceana and Lake counties. SSCENT asks that if you have information about drug activity in your area to call (231) 843-7045 or contact your local police department.
