LUDINGTON — This year’s Ludington Lake Jump, held last Saturday, raised $22,433.29 for the Mason County Sports Hall of Fame. Funds will be used for the proposed Sports Center to be located on the southwest corner of Ludington Avenue and Harrison Street.

Over the past 18 years over $430,000.00 has been raised by not-for-profit community organizations. 

This year the team that raised the most funds for the proposed Sports Center was the Ludington High School state runner-up varsity boys basketball team, which raised over $4,100. The team will receive the Lake Jump Trophy and a Jimmy Johns team lunch, along with a special “2017 Lake Jump” All-Star Team, T-Shirt. 

Sports Hall of Fame Vice President Todd Hansen raised over $1,082.72. He will receive the Most Valuable Promoter (MVP) t-shirt and a Jimmy Johns meal each month for the next year.
