Weapons charge tops felony arraignments in District Court

The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

-Kristin Brooke Hoffman, 26, of 6736 Potter Rd., Bear Lake, was arrested Mar. 15 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on a felony charge of Dangerous Weapon – Miscellaneous – Attempt and a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.  Probable cause hearing:  Mar. 29 at 3 p.m.  Bail:  $5,000/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

-Elijah Knight Kadrovach, 33, of 4055 Jebavy Dr., Hamlin Township; Mar. 14; Michigan State Police (MSP); operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI), possession of marijuana, open intoxicant in a motor vehicle, and driving while license suspended (DWLS).  Pretrial:  Apr. 10 at 11:45 a.m.  Bail:  $3,500/10 percent.

-Elecia Judith Keeley Bentz, 17, of 403 S. Jefferson St., Ludington; Mar. 19; MCSO; third-degree retail fraud.  Pretrial:  Apr. 10 at 3 p.m.  Bail:  $5,000/10 percent.

-Tara Lynn Bowers, 37, of 4679 E. First St., Custer Township; Mar. 16; MSP; failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance), failure to report an accident, and unlawful plates.  Pretrial:  Apr. 10 at 2:15 p.m.  Bail:  $1,500 personal.

-Christopher Steven Studer, 19, of 6177 S. Scottville Rd., Riverton Township; Mar. 10; Scottville Police Department (SPD); failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance).  Pretrial:  Apr. 17 at 11:30 a.m.  Bail:  $1,500 personal.

-Deven Benson Garcia, 21, of 2833 Hansen Rd., Amber Township; Mar. 7; MSP; failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance).  Pretrial:  Apr. 10 at 9:15 a.m.  Bail:  $1,500 personal.
