Weather spotter training to be offered. 

HART — A free weather spotter training course will be offered on Saturday, April 15 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Oceana County Medical Care Facility, second floor, 701 E. Main St.

Weather spotters are taught how to identify and report significant weather events that may have potential impact on the safety of a community.

The training is sponsored by the National Weather Service, along with Mason County Emergency Management and Oceana County Emergency Management.
