Obituary: Elizabeth Miller, 85, Ludington.

Elizabeth Ann Miller, 85, of Ludington, entered into heaven on Tuesday, February 15, 2017 at Oakview Medical Care Facility in Ludington.

Elizabeth was born on April 22, 1931 in Muskegon, the daughter of the late Wilber and Margaret (Coyne) Shunk.  She attended Muskegon Heights and Mason County Eastern schools.  She graduated with the class of 1950.  She married Donald G. Miller on December 16, 1950. 

Elizabeth enjoyed singing in the choir at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  She worked as a waitress and made a happy home for her husband and their three children.  Her favorite hobby was working with ceramics.  She especially enjoyed camping with her family.

She is survived by her husband and children: Donald Miller, Mary (Keith Patterson) Miller, Duane (Mary Lou Linenfelser) Miller and Steve (Debbie) Miller; grandchildren: Dan (Erica) Duncil, Mandy (Ryan) Walker, Megan, Allison, Natalie and Gretchen Linenfelser; great grandchildren: Elaina, Deric and Easton Duncil; Lisa, RJ and Ryder Walker; sisters in-law:  Carol Stark, Phyllis Miller and Mary Lou Miller; brothers in-law: Dean Depeel and Dick Miller.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers: George (Annabelle) and John Shunk; sisters: Dorothy (Cletus) Crowley and Catherine (Doran) Wilson; father in-law and mother in-law: Emery and Margaret Miller; sisters in-law: Mary Depeel, Judy Underwood and Ruthie Miller; brothers in-law: Robert Miller, Roger Miller and Ivan Stark.

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will take place on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 1 p.m. at St. Simon Catholic Church with Father Wayne Wheeler officiating.  There will be a visitation held the evening prior; March 3, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington.
