LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in 79th District Court:

– Nicholas Scott Lombardo, 24, of 1619 N. Stiles Rd., Amber Township, pleaded guilty Feb. 7 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to 31 days in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must attend victim’s impact weekend; no drugs/alcohol for two years; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs); subject to random drug tests; must attend AA two times per week for two years; must submit to a benchmark drug test; must obtain substance abuse counseling; and $1,535 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS).

– Eugene Arthur Sinclair, 66, of 1092 Brandy Lane, Lot 56, Pere Marquette Township, pleaded guilty Feb. 7 to OWI and was sentenced to 32 days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must attend victim’s impact weekend; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; subject to random drug tests; and $1,430 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Nickolaus Charles Weber, 22, of 909 ½ S. Washington Ave., Ludington, pleaded guilty Feb. 7 to impaired driving and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact weekend; no drugs/alcohol; must continue current outpatient counseling; and $870 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Michael James Hill, 28, of 2827 Sandy Dr., Hamlin Township, pleaded guilty Feb. 10 to driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; 12 months of probation; and $285 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Kevin Michael Burton, 35, of 3790 Sass Rd., Manistee, pleaded guilty Feb. 13 to allowing a person to drive in violation of the motor vehicle code and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; 12 months of probation; and $335 in fines/costs.

– Eric William Carroll, 33, of 207 E. Second St., Scottville, pleaded guilty Feb. 13 to allowing a person to drive in violation of the motor vehicle code and was sentenced to nine days in jail with credit for nine days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; not to operate a vehicle until legally able to do so; 12 months of probation; and $335 in fines/costs.

– Johnny Gerard, Jr., 58, of 867 Bob Ave., Muskegon, pleaded guilty Feb. 13 to excessive bait and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; 12 months of probation and $185 in fines/costs.

Dismissal

– Glen Arthur Bentley, II, 37, of 9557 E. Anthony Rd., Logan Township, had charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct (victim under 13/ defendant over 17) and second-degree criminal sexual conduct (victim under 13/ defendant over 17) dismissed without prejudice Feb. 10 by Mason County Prosecutor Paul Spaniola. According to court records, “Evidence received by the state this week has rendered the evidence in this matter unlikely to lead to a conviction beyond a reasonable doubt at this time.”
