Rural development specialist to discuss housing assistance. 

SCOTTVILLE — A specialist from the US Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development will speak Thursday afternoon at the Scottville Area Senior Center for its monthly Get the Facts series. The program begins at 2 p.m. at the center, 140 S. Main St.

David B. Greenwood present information about various rural development housing loans, repair loans, and
grants that are available; Rural Development programs are not age specific.  A question and answer session will follow the presentation.

The Get the Facts series meets on the third Thursday of the month and offers informational presentations designed to inform and empower baby boomers and seniors. Topics vary from month to month.
