LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in 79th District Court:

-Allison Rae Tubbs, 24, of 523 E. Church St., Hart, pleaded guilty Jan. 3 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OWI) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact weekend; no drugs/alcohol; no controlled substances without prescription; must obtain substance abuse counseling; and $1,000 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS).

-Bradley Jacob Baron, 23, of 2233 W. Lever Rd., Hart, pleaded guilty Jan. 3 to impaired driving and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact weekend; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random reliminary breath tests (PBTs); and $870 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Tammy Marie Parker, 57, of 2945 Branch Woods Rd., Branch, pleaded guilty Jan. 3 to retail fraud third degree (shoplifting) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $614 in fines/costs/restitution. She may perform 60 hours of community service within nine months in lieu of fines/costs. An additional charge of retail fraud third degree was dismissed.

-David Erwin Nyeholt, 48, of 10853 Wellington Dr. NE, Rockford, pleaded guilty Jan. 3 to OWI by a controlled substance and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact weekend; must attend narcotics anonymous once per week for two months; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random drug tests; must complete alcohol highway safety education; and $905 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. A charge of possession of marijuana was dismissed.

-Adam Paul Nead, 29, of 206 W. Third St., Scottville, pleaded guilty Jan. 3 to operating while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to six days in jail with credit for six days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact weekend; must attend AA twice per week; must obtain Soberlink for vehicle; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must continue outpatient counseling; and $1,200 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. A charge of child endangerment was dismissed.

-Jacob Caine Cornwell, 24, of 6465 W. Forest Edge Dr., Hamlin Township, pleaded guilty Jan. 5 to transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle and was sentenced to pay $265 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.
