LUDINGTON — Radiant Church, 409 S. Washington Ave., will again be hosting a Christmas Eve Community Dinner this coming Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. This is the second year the church is offering the free dinner.

“This is a way for our church to show the love of Christ,” Pastor Jerry Theis said. “We believe this dinner goes beyond just food, but is about how we as a community can come together and get to know each other better. Last year’s dinner touched many lives and we had some really good feedback.”

In addition to the dinner, attendees have the option to attend candlelight services, which will be held at 4 and 6:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary.

“The services are certainly optional, but we think that everyone will really enjoy them,” Theis said. “We’ve had a lot of people who have come together and worked hard to bring a very nice community service.”

Those who are unable to get to the church may request delivery by calling 231-845-9596 or emailing the church at dinner@radiantcoast.org. Those wishing more information about the dinner or who would like to volunteer may also use that contact information.

The community dinner replaced the Christmas Day community dinner that used to be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, a few blocks away, from Radiant Church. The change over was a mutual decision between both churches.
