LUDINGTON — Access to pediatric care increased in the Ludington area this week as Erin Ross, a certified pediatric nurse practitioner joined Spectrum Health’s Ludington pediatrics office.

Ross has extensive educational credentials, having earned bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Northern Illinois University, her master’s degree in nursing with a pediatric nurse practitioner focus from Marquette University, and her doctorate in nursing practice from University of Alabama.

Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital Pediatrics – Ludington, at 907 East Tinkham Ave., now has four medical providers caring for infant through high school patients.  Ross joins doctors Teresa Kovas, Kari Leikert, and Tammy Middlebrook,  in the regional pediatric practice.

“We are tremendously pleased to welcome Erin into the practice,” said Dr. Leikert. “She has a very impressive background in preparation to serve the families in our expanding practice. She will be a great addition to the area medical community.”

“This is a great opportunity to begin my career with three such accomplished pediatricians in a very desirable area in which to live and work,” Ross said. “I look forward to serving the health needs of young people throughout the area.”
