‘Person of interest’ has long rap sheet, police say.

LUDINGTON — Police continue to search for Jessie O’Connor, a “person of interest” in a domestic violence case who has a lengthy criminal history, according to Ludington Police Chief Mark Barnett.

“The Ludington Police Department is looking for information regarding the location of Jessie O’Connor,” Barnett said in a press release. “Jessie O’Connor has a domestic violence warrant issued for his arrest, (and) the warrant has been entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN). He also is listed as a parole absconder.”

O’Connor has convictions of unarmed robbery, receiving and concealing a stolen motor vehicle and third-degree fleeing police, Barnett said.

He is a “person of interest” in a domestic violence incident that occurred Wednesday, Oct. 19, in the City of Ludington.

O’Connor is described as a white male, age 35, with black hair, blue eyes and a beard. He was
last seen wearing a blue hoodie sweatshirt with “Amsterdam” written on the front, blue jeans, gray and white shoes and a black Adidas-brand backpack.

LPD issued a press release Wednesday seeking the public’s help in finding O’Connor. A second press release was issued Thursday, indicating that police are still searching for him and providing information about his criminal history.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the LPD at 231-843-3425 or Mason/Oceana Dispatch at 231-869-5858.
