51st Circuit Court sentencings include home invasion, uttering/publishing.

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

Horsley

Horsley

– Mykel Dalton Horsley, 26, of 503 N. Washington Ave., Apt. 2, Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 16 of third-degree home invasion, second-offense aggravated domestic violence, aggravated assault and fourth-offense habitual offender. He was sentenced Oct. 4 to two concurrent prison terms of two to 45 years, with credit for 176 days served in jail; a concurrent term of one year in jail, with credit for 176 days served; and $308 in fines and costs. One count of first-degree home invasion was dismissed.

Biggin

– James Phillip Biggin, 30, of 602 E. Melendy St., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 10 of uttering and publishing and fourth-offense habitual offender. He was sentenced Oct. 4 to serve 10 months up front of a one-year discretionary jail term with credit for 85 days served; two years probation; and $728.70 in fines, costs and restitution. Another count of uttering a publishing and one count of third-degree retail fraud were dismissed.
