Alleged drunk diner arrested.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 51-year-old Scottville man was arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for probation violation Friday, Sept. 30, at 5:03 p.m. at the China Buffet restaurant, 4923 W. US 10, “after he was reportedly intoxicated and refusing to pay for his meal,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

  • 2:25 p.m., (MCSO), larceny of pipe wrenches, 6500 block of East Dewey Road, Sheridan Township.
  • 5:31 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 east of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 6:03 p.m., (MCSO), three-vehicle crash, no injuries, Main and State streets, City of Scottville.
