Cash register stolen during break-in.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A cash register was stolen during a breaking and entering of the H&R Block office, at 5718 W. US 10, Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 12:05 p.m., according to the Hart post of the Michigan State Police.

No other information about the break-in was immediately available.

Other police activity Tuesday includes:

  • 6:22 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), one-vehicle crash, minor injuries, Jebavy Drive and Bertha Lane, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 7:12 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Fountain and Stephens roads, Sherman Township.
  • 5:30 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Anthony Road and Pere Marquette Highway, Summit Township.
  • 8 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Conrad and Stiles roads, Amber Township.
  • 8:36 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Stiles and Marrison roads, Riverton Township.
