Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post handled two complaints in the last two days of ORVs (off-road vehicles) operating on county roads. The first complaint was Monday, Aug. 22, at 1:30 p.m. in the area of Campbell and Wilson roads in Branch Township. The second complaint was Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 12:40 p.m. at Hansen and Dennis roads in Amber Township.

Monday, Aug. 22, 2016:

  • 9:45 p.m., car/deer crash, Victory Corners and Dewey roads, Victory Township.

Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016:

  • 8:30 a.m., car/deer crash, Amber and Johnson roads, Amber Township.
  • 11 a.m., malicious destruction of property to a vehicle, Quarterline and Townline roads, Grant Township.
  • 1:45 p.m., fraud, 200 block of East Meisenheimer Road, Eden Township.
  • 8:05 p.m., a 34-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a fugitive warrant, 3000 block of North Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township.
