CORRECTED INFORMATION: PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A three vehicle crash on US 10 resulted in minor injuries Wednesday morning. The crash occurred in the 5900 block of US 10 between Nelson and Jackson roads. A westbound Chevrolet Equinox, driven by a 22-year-old Ludington woman, made a left turn in front of an eastbound Chevrolet Trax driving by a 49-year-old Ludington woman. As a result, the Trax rear-ended a Chevrolet Express van that was parked at the Performance Plus oil change store.

The driver of the Trax was transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. The driver of the Equinox and 78-year-old passenger of the Trax were evaluated by medical personnel on the scene but were not hospitalized. The driver of the Equinox was ticketed for hazardous driving.

Responding to the scene were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Pere Marquette Fire Department and Life EMS.
