Post fireworks traffic routes announced.

The following is the traffic route plan that will proceed the Ludington Area Jaycees Freedom Festival fireworks, scheduled for Monday, July 4.

– US 10 Traffic will be the main traffic routes from the City of Ludington east. There will also be eastbound and westbound traffic allowed.

– Tinkham Avenue/Johnson Road will be monitored to a traffic control point at Johnson Road and Jebavy Drive in Pere Marquette Township. Traffic will be directed only northbound on Jebavy Drive at that intersection.

– Bryant Road will be monitored to a traffic control point at Bryant Road and Jebavy Drive in PM Township. Traffic will be directed only northbound on Jebavy Drive from that intersection.

– Jebavy Drive: There will be no southbound traffic allowed from Rasmussen Road in PM Township. All traffic coming south on Jebavy Drive will be directed east on Rasmussen Road. Northbound traffic on Jebavy Drive from
US 10, Johnson Road, and Bryant Road, will be allowed to turn east on Rasmussen Road or travel north on Jebavy Drive.

– Rasmussen Road/Hansen Road: Traffic will be allowed to travel east and west on Rasmussen Road/Hansen Road in PM and Amber townships. Traffic heading west on Rassmussen Road will be directed north on Jebavy Drive only. Traffic traveling east on Rassmussen Road in PM Township can travel freely to Dennis Road or Stiles Road and back south as the detour back to US 10.

Pere Marquette Highway: There will be no Northbound traffic allowed from traffic control points of First Street, Sixth Street and Iris Road in PM Township. Traffic at those locations will be directed southbound only to the US 31 on-ramp.
