LUDINGTON — Two 16-year-old Georgia boys are being prosecuted as adults in 51st Circuit Court due to the seriousness of the crimes they are accused of committing.

Carlos Jesus Gomez, of 6454 Sage St., Doraville, Georgia, and Miguel Andres Garcia, of 3175 Medlock Bridge Rd., Norcross, Georgia, appeared separately before Judge Susan K. Sniegowski Tuesday, June 14, for their arraignments on felony charges of first-degree home invasion and felony firearms.

Both teens, accompanied by court-appointed attorneys, pleaded “not guilty” to the charges.

It is alleged that on May 6 at 2382 S. Meyers Rd., in Pere Marquette Township Gomez and Garcia invaded a home, armed with several rifles.
