2 arrested on drug charges at campground.

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — A 24-year-old Mason County woman was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of Xanax and a 50-year-old Mason County man was arrested for possession of marijuana Thursday, May 26, at 6:11 p.m. after Mason County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to a “suspicious situation” call at a campground in the 6700 block of N. US 31, according to Mason Sheriff Kim Cole.

– 1:30 a.m., (Michigan State Police, Hart post), car/deer crash, US 31 and Chauvez Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 8:34 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), larceny, 4800 block of N. Lakeshore Drive, Hamlin Township.

– 11:23 a.m., (MCSO), identity theft, victim discovered someone had made unauthorized purchases in the Atlanta, Georgia area off a bank card, 6700 block of E. Wever Road, Branch Township.

– 7:57 p.m., ​(MCSO), a 36-year-old Hart man was arrested following a traffic stop on charges of driving while license suspended and open intoxicants, US 10-31 and Brye Road, Amber Township.

– 9:21 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Jebavy Drive and Bryant Road, PM Township.

– 10:30 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 and PM Hwy., PM Township.
