LUDINGTON – The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– Tracy Lynn Tighe, 39, 694 W. Sugar Grove Rd., Victory Township, pleaded guilty on May 11 to allowing a dog to run loose and was sentenced to pay $926.85 in fines and costs.

– Tamara DeLynn Yeargan, 46, 602 E. Melendy St., Ludington, pleaded guilty on May 10 to second degree retail fraud (shoplifting) and was sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for 19 days already served. Restitution is reserved and may be assessed at a later date.

Dismissals

– Roger Roy Adams III, 30, 797 W. Engel Rd., West Branch, had a charge of operating a motor vehicle without security (no insurance) dismissed without prejudice. “The ends of justice do not require further prosecution of this matter,” according to court records.

– Raymond Harold Snay, Jr., 49, no address listed, had a charge of failure to register as a sex offender dismissed on the motion of the court without prejudice. Bond is canceled and will be returned after costs are deducted.
