LUDINGTON – The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court Magistrate:

Felonies

Machiela

– Clayton Charles Machiela, 24, 5824 N. Larson Rd., Sheridan Township, was arrested May 12 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on felony charges of safe breaking and delivery, circulation, or sale of a financial transaction device obtained or held under proscribed circumstances. Preliminary hearing: June 1 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $25,000/cash/surety.

Ruschkewicz

– Phillip Shane Ruschkewicz, 49, 323 N. Delia St., Ludington, was arrested May 12 by the State, Sheriffs’, and Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotic Team (SSCENT) on felony charges of delivering a controlled substance. Preliminary hearing: June 1 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Griffin

– Carl William Griffin, 51, Stearns Motor Inn Apt. 226, Ludington, was arrested May 10 by Michigan State Police (MSP) on felony charges of failure to register as a sex offender and habitual offender second offense. Preliminary hearing: May 25 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.
