LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

Kenyon Clark Thomas, Jr., 28, of 1133 W. Hazel Rd., Hart, was found guilty April 19 of disorderly person – jostling and sentenced to 90 days to be served in Oceana County Jail concurrent with the 27th Circuit Court sentence already imposed and no contact with the victim. Fines and costs are suspended due to incarceration, and restitution is reserved. One count of aggravated assault was dismissed. Clark was also found guilty of third-degree retail fraud April 19 and sentenced to 93 days in jail to be served in Oceana County concurrent with circuit court matter imposed. Fines and costs suspended due to incarceration.

Robert James Adair, 31, of 23512 Donaldson, Clinton Township, Michigan, was found guilty March 1 of attempted fleeing police and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $1,965 in fines and costs; one year discretionary jail for two years for Count 1 and 93 days discretionary jail for one year for Count 2; must attend the next session of the Victims’ Impact Panel (VIP); group substance abuse counseling; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs) and drug tests; and Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE). Convictions reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

Zaria Elaine Maxwell, 26, of 5614 S. Broadside Ave., Baldwin, was found guilty April 25 of truancy and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must have child in school every day with no unexcused absences; $125 fine; and 20 hours of community service in lieu of additional fines and costs.

Adam William Warren, 21, of 6550 E. Glen Lane, Sheridan Township, was found guilty April 19 of failure to maintain security/no insurance and sentenced to one year discretionary jail for one year and a $125 fine. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Jonathon Michael Tyndall, 23, of 147 S. Wildwood Trail, Apt. 8, Amber Township, was found guilty April 19 of use of marijuana and sentenced to six days in jail; $535 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; and no alcohol/drugs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Shane Thomas Wardlow, 34, of 717 N. Washington Ave., Ludington, was found guilty April 19 of malicious use of telecommunications services and sentenced to outpatient treatment; $125 fine; 180 days discretionary jail for two years; jail credit for time served; must take all medications appropriately as prescribed; and and no contact with the victims.

Danielle Renea Perow, 28, of 143 N. Jebavy Dr., Apt. 2, Pere Marquette Township, was found guilty April 19 of third-degree retail fraud and sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $665 in fines and costs.

Robert Paul Martin, 60, of 7214 N. Sand Lake Dr., Irons, was found guilty April 19 of operating while impaired and sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; AHSE; $870 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend two to three substance abuse counseling sessions; must attend next VIP session; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of transporting open intoxicants was dismissed.

Rolando Ezequiel Ruiz, 30, of 1114 S. Madison Ave., Ludington, was found guilty April 19 of operating while intoxicated and sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; AHSE; $1,070 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend next session of VIP; Soberlink for six months; must attend AA twice a week; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a BAC of .17 or more was dismissed.

Dismissals

Bradley Alan Mann, 22, of 6690 Borowski Rd., Sheridan Township, one count of operating a vehicle without security (without insurance) was dismissed April 18. “The interests of justice do not require further prosecution of this matter,” court records state.

Tia Marie Wells, age unavailable, of 501 Adams St. , Ludington, one count of disorderly conduct was dismissed April 19, “per plea agreement,” court records state.
