Shakespeare group will read ‘Julius Caesar’ April 14.

LUDINGTON — The Shakespeare Reading Group continues its reading of “Julius Caesar” when it meets Thursday, April 14 at 7 p.m. at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts. Reading will pick up with Act III. The group will meet upstairs in Room 202, the Judith Minty Writers’ Room.

The SRG is open to all who have a “Love of Shakespeare” and meets once a month for about two hours to read from the works of The Bard. SRG participants read the script for the different characters and an informal discussion is held at the end of each scene.

Participants are asked to bring their own copy of Shakespeare’s works and to contribute $3 toward facility usage ($2 for LACA members). The Ludington Area Center for the Arts is at 107 S. Harrison St. For more information, call the arts center at 231-845-2787.
