51st Circuit Court sentencings: teen sent to prison for breaking, entering.

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

Jacob Thomas Kruisenga, 19, of 60 N. State St., Hart, was found guilty Dec. 2 of breaking and entering a building with intent and third-offense habitual offender in two separate files. He was sentenced Feb. 2 to two concurrent terms of two-and-a-half years to 20 years in prison, with credit for 95 days served in jail; $258 in fines and costs for each file; and a total of $3,703.88 in restitution.

Adam Bruce Ireland, 41, of 708 Fifth St., Ludington, was found guilty Dec. 8 of

attempted assault by strangulation and domestic violence in two separate files. He was sentenced Feb. 2 to two concurrent terms of one year in jail, with credit for 119 days served and two concurrent terms of 90 days in jail, with credit 119 days served; two years probation; and $708 in fines and costs. Work release must meet Mason County Sheriff’s Office guidelines. One count of assault by strangulation and second-offense habitual offender designation were dismissed in each file.
