LUDINGTON — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office has announced that it has arrested an out-of-state individual in connection to the January 19, 2016 bomb threat at Covenant Christian School in Amber Township. The threat, which was made by email, occurred just after noon on that day and meant that the school’s 90 students and its staff members had to be transferred to a nearby church. Another bomb threat occurred the same way on Friday, Jan. 29, 2016 at Mason County Eastern Schools, about 20 minutes prior to school being dismissed for the day. That investigation is being handled by the Michigan State Police.

More details will be announced during a press conference with Sheriff Kim Cole and Prosecuting Attorney Paul Spaniola Monday morning
