LUDINGTON —  Michael Kim Brechtelsbauer, 57, of 5502 Circle Drive, Standish, Michigan, was found guilty Dec. 1 of third-offense operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL). He was sentenced Jan. 19 to serve three months up front of a 270-day jail sentence with credit for two days served; two years probation; $1,208 in fines and costs; 60 days of community service; and ORV immobilized for one year. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

Mark Allen Fargo-Saporita, 46, of 6694 E. Oak Ridge, Sheridan Township, was found guilty Jan. 14 of body art facility – no license and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no contact with victim; and $525 in fines and costs. One count of body art facility – no license was dismissed.

Cara Antoinette Monton, 17, of 506 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was found guilty Jan. 27 of domestic violence and sentenced to 93 days in jail with credit for 93 days served; two years probation; must abide by circuit court requirements; no contact with the victim; no alcohol/drugs; $295 in fines and costs; must obtain high school diploma; weekly drug tests; and must abide by 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. curfew unless with a parent or employed. One count of possession of marijuana and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon were dismissed.

Christopher Ross Betzer, 21, of 2063 N. Sherman, Ludington, was found guilty Jan. 26 of failure to report an accident and sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $325 in fines and costs; outpatient treatment; $325 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol drugs; must submit to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs) and drug tests once a week for six months and then every 21 days. Restitution is reserved. In a separate file, he was found guilty Jan. 26 of operating while intoxicated and sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; outpatient treatment; $1,560 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must attend the next session of the Victims’ Impact Panel (VIP); no alcohol/drugs; and must submit to random preliminary breath tests PBTs and drug tests once a week for six months and then every 21 days. Conviction reportable to Secretary of the State (SOS). One count of possession of analogues dismissed.

Garrett Daniel Arens, 18, of 6647 W. Jackson Street, Hamlin Township, was found guilty Feb. 1 of reckless driving and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for two one year and $375 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Kaci Allison-Makinze Browning, 24, of 6707 Lorne Dr., Pentwater, was found guilty Jan. 26 of third-degree retail fraud and sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $600 in fines and costs.

Nathaniel Deshawn Hernandez, 27, of 5065 S. Schwass Rd., Riverton Township, was found guilty Jan. 26 of larceny less than $200 and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $330 in fines and costs. One count of larceny less than $200 and one count of larceny in a building were dismissed.

Jacob David Bentz, 21, of 56 S. Quarterline Rd., Amber Township, was found guilty Jan. 26 of operating while intoxicated and sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; outpatient treatment; $1,430 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must attend next session of VIP; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of preliminary breath test (PBT) refusal and one count of violating a restricted license were dismissed.

Nathan Sean Garn, 26, of 2989 W. Groth Rd., Victory Township, was found guilty Jan. 26 of possession of marijuana and sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; $360 in fines and costs; driver’s license suspended one year/restricted after 30 days; and one year discretionary jail for two years.

Randy Joe Zelinski, 31, of 2606 County Line Rd., Manistee, was found guilty Feb. 1 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $285 in fines and costs; and 93 days discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Dismissal

Deanna Lynn Mann, 47, of 6690 E. Borowski Rd., Sheridan Township, one count of possession of marijuana was dismissed Jan. 28. “The interests of justice do not require further prosecution of this matter,” according to court records.
