25th Family AfFAIR is March 19.

January 18, 2016

family_affair_15_002SCOTTVILLE — The 25th Annual Family AfFAIR will be held Saturday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mason County Central High School. Every year, hundreds of people from local businesses and community agencies get together to provide a free, whole day of fun for local families. Over 55 groups and organizations each year bring intriguing and entertaining hands-on activities for participants.

This year the event will welcome back, by popular demand, The Magic of Kevin with two performances at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Kevin Skipski so enjoyed his time at Family AfFAIR a few years ago he is sponsoring by donating a performance on this wonderful family day.

This year’s Family AfFAIR theme is The Magic of Family; Today, Tomorrow and Beyond.

There will be a variety of activities and fun available including photo booths, arts and crafts, face painting, and balloon art. Some of the activities will take place in classrooms and others in the gym area. The gym will also host two jump houses. Judges will circulate incognito, deciding on who will get the award for the “Most Interactive Booth” this year. Last years’ award went to Family Video.

Each family will leave with free entrance goodies.
