79th District Court arraignments home invasion, accosting children.

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court Magistrate:

Felonies

Chavalia

– Brayden Paul Chavalia, 21, of 407 S. Main St., Scottville, was arrested Jan. 2 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for felonies of first-degree home invasion and two counts of resisting/opposing police. Probable cause hearing: Jan. 20 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $10,000/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Samuel Raymond Hogan, 48, of 303 N. 2nd St., Brighton, was arrested Jan. 6 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for a felony of accosting children for immoral purposes and second-offense habitual offender. Probable cause hearing: Jan. 20 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $10,000/personal.

Griffin

– Tyler Joel Griffin, 24, of 308 1/2 Court St., Ludington, was arrested Jan. 8 by the State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) for a felony of possession of narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams. Probable cause hearing: Jan. 20 at 3 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.   

– Hobart Nathaniel Bickel, 35, of 415 Church St., Hart, was arrested Jan. 9 by the Hart post of the Michigan State Police (MSP) for a felony of possession of narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams. Probable cause hearing: Jan. 20 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

Lamb

– Bradford Richard Lamb, 38, of 415 S. James St., Apt 1, Ludington, was arrested Jan. 11 by LPD for a felony of false report of a felony. Probable cause hearing: Jan. 20 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $5,000/personal.

Scweitzer

– Anessa Jo Schweitzer, 18, of 300 3rd St., Manistee, was arrested Jan. 5 by MCSO for a felony of assaulting/resisting/ obstructing police and a misdemeanor of minor in possession of alcohol (MIP). Probable cause hearing: Jan. 20 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Shane Michael Hough, 32, of 60 S. Densmore St., Muskegon; Jan. 1; MCSO; second-offense domestic violence and two counts of assault and battery. Pretrial: Feb. 1 at 11:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Ashley Nicole Martinsen, 26, of 112 E. Danaher St., Ludington; Jan. 4; MSP; second-degree retail fraud (shoplifting). Pretrial: Feb. 1 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Kaci Allison-Makinze Browning, 24, of 6707 Lorne Rd., Pentwater; Jan. 4; MSP; second-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: Jan. 25 at 2 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Randy Joe Zelinski, 31, of 2606 County Line Rd., Manistee; Nov. 2; MSP; DWLS. Pretrial: Feb. 1 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.

– Michael Marteell Dunlap, 31, of 922 Lafayette Ave., NE, Grand Rapids; Dec. 31; LPD; malicious destruction of a building and assault and battery. Pretrial: Feb. 1 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

– Teresa Ellen Brown, 43, of ℅ 501 N. Rath Ave., Ludington; Jan. 1; MCSO; operating while intoxicated. Pretrial: Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

– Bruce L. Wemple, 52, of 7819 E. Chickasaw Trail, Branch; Jan. 7; MSP; failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) and violation of a restricted license. Pretrial: Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Caitlyn Anne George-Cook, 22, of 1751 E. Major Rd., Eden Township;  MSP; failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance). Pretrial: Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Brent Daniel Toles, 41, of 457 Maple Ave., Custer; Jan. 7; MSP; improper transport of marijuana. Pretrial: Feb. 8 at 11:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Richard Joseph Rostenburg, 20, of 3360 S. Schwass Rd., Riverton Township; Jan. 8; operating while intoxicated and MIP. Pretrial: Feb. 8 at 11:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Charles Douglas Richards, 38, of 104 E. Whittier St., Ludington; Jan. 7; LPD; failure to maintain security and improper plate. Pretrial: Feb. 1 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Karen Ann Lamb, 55, of 415 S. James St., Apt. 1, Ludington; Jan. 9; LPD; domestic violence. Pretrial: Feb. 1 at 2:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Jimmy Wayne Walls, 50, of 3747 N. Taylor Rd., Branch Township; Jan. 9; MCSO; operating while intoxicated. Pretrial: Feb. 22 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.
